My dear Christine,

Thank you very much for your prayers! It’s been so nice to read your message and I feel so grateful to have a sweet friend like you that thinks about me and our country difficult situation.

I thank you also for your compliments about my poem, which I really appreciate very much… it’s so rare to have feedback from other writers and, when you are not a native, you keep always a bit your breath in when you hit ‘publish’. I am very satisfied if I was able to convey part of my/our feelings about this tragedy we are living in Italy.

Please, stay safe at home and don’t let your mom go anywhere. When you enter from shopping or somewhere else, before touching anything, take off your shoes, change cloths and wash your hands well. Never touch your face and keep a distance also from your family, especially if elderly. It’s a new routine, but it’s necessary for everyone’s safety.

If you need any information, ask me. I will answer only if I’ll be very sure of my knowledge about it. In this time, there are around too many fake news that it’s terribly irresponsible to even think to send them around!

Love to you and your family! Ciao, keep safe.
